it brings the joy of the arrival of Goddess Durga, the Divine Mother. The biggest and the most sacred festival of Bengal and the Bengalies.
Kolkata being the capital of Bengal host this festival in the biggest manner. The festival starts from “Maha Panchami” and ends on “Maha Dashami”
lasting for six days. Only in Kolkata more than 400 Pujas are being organised, every puja has its own theme, events, functions and the organisers
leave no stones unturned to make their puja unique and best.

Biggest Award of Durga Puja - SERUM Sharod Samman for the cities of Kolkata, Saltlake & Howrah. The Awards are given for Best Idol,
Best Concept, Best Low Budget Puja, and Best Societal Friend.
It′s a time again to get colored and lost in the devotional zeal of Durga Puja celebration that is marked as one
of the most awaited and biggest festival celebrations of the Bengalis. It is a six days long festival observed as Mahalaya, Shashthi, Maha Saptami, Maha Ashtami,
Maha Nabami, and Vijayadashami.
As per Hindu mythology, Goddess Durga, who is also referred to as an embodiment of Shakti or a symbol of feminine strength, emerged as a collective energy to fight
the devil Mahishasura, who had been blessed not to be defeated by any God or Man. Goddess Durga is believed to be a self-sufficient reservoir of energy. The people
of Kolkata highly revere Goddess Durga for her unfathomable power and the festival of Durga Puja is observed with utmost grandeur and gigantic ceremonies.

mega event for Durga Puja Awards named as "SERUM Sharod Samman" for Kolkata, Saltlake & Howrah.

Durga Puja is a Hindu celebration of the Mother
Goddess and the victory of the revered warrior Goddess Durga over the evil Mahishasura. The festival honours the powerful female force (shakti) in
the Universe. It is particularly celebrated with great zeal and fervour in the state of West Bengal in Kolkata in the honour of Mother Durga coming
to Her Father's house for 9 days, during the span of whole period of Navaratri. From Maha Panchami to Dashami the huge pandals of the Goddess Durga
are open to the visitors. On the tenth day, Dashami, Goddess Durga again returns to Mt. Kailash and as we immersed into water - the Visarjan.
