After the retreat of rumbling monsoon clouds, comes the golden autumn, sharot for we Bengalies, and it brings the joy of the arrival of Goddess Durga, the Divine Mother. The biggest and the most sacred festival of Bengal and the Bengalies. Kolkata being the capital of Bengal host this festival in the biggest manner. The festival starts from “Maha Panchami” and ends on “Maha Dashami” lasting for six days. Only in Kolkata more than 400 Pujas are being organised, every puja has its own theme, events, functions that leave no stones unturned to make their puja unique and best.

Ltd. presents & Serum Thalassemia Prevention Federation hosts Serum Sharod Baran, 2021, the Biggest Crown of Sharod Samman for the cities of Kolkata, Saltlake & Howrah. The Awards are given for Best Idol, Best Concept, Best Low Budget Puja and Best Societal Friend.

Durga Puja is a Hindu celebration of the Mother Goddess and the victory of the revered warrior Goddess Durga over the evil Mahishasura. The festival honours the powerful female force (shakti) in the Universe. It is particularly celebrated with great zeal and fervour in the state of West Bengal in Kolkata in the honour of Mother Durga coming to Her Father's house for 9 days, during the span of whole period of Navaratri. From Maha Panchami to Dashami the huge pandals of the Goddess Durga are open to the visitors. On the tenth day, Dashami, Goddess Durga again returns to Mt. Kailash and as we immersed into water - the Visarjan.
